SENSEMAKER /

Your business may not need more ideas.  It may need to make sense again.

Sensemaker helps founders and growing businesses uncover what is no longer working, connect what feels disconnected, and find the clearest way forward.

Take The Sense Check /

3 to 5 minutes / A thoughtful business diagnostic / No generic score

We question what no longer makes sense.

Problem recognition /

A business can be working  and still not be making sense.

  1. 01 /

The brand stopped reflecting what the business has become.

  2. 02 /

Marketing became a list of activities rather than a direction.

  3. 03 /

Customers see something different from what the business believes it is offering.

  4. 04 /

Decisions take longer because everything feels equally important.

  5. 05 /

Growth has slowed, but adding more has not solved it.

These are not always execution problems.

Sometimes, they are sense-making problems.

Does this feel familiar ? Take The Sense Check /

What Sensemaker does /

We find the question beneath the problem.

Sensemaker is a creative and strategic consultancy for businesses that feel stuck, scattered or ready for their next chapter.

We look beyond the visible request.

  • A request for a campaign may reveal an unclear position.
  • A request for a rebrand may reveal a business that has outgrown its original story.
  • A sales problem may begin much earlier in the customer experience.
  • A content problem may be a problem of conviction.

Before creating more, we make sense of what is already there.

01 / What you ask for

  • Campaign /
  • Content /
  • Rebrand /
  • Growth /

02 / What we investigate

  • Customer /
  • Meaning /
  • Experience /
  • Decisions /
  • Business reality /

03 / What you leave with

  • Clarity /
  • Direction /
  • Priorities /
  • A way forward /

A philosophy /

More is not always movement.

  1. 01 /

Businesses often add before they understand.

  2. 02 /

A visible problem may not be the real problem.

  3. 03 /

Better decisions begin with better questions.

  4. 04 /

    The customer's experience is evidence.

  5. 05 /

Clarity is not simplification for appearance. It is understanding what matters.

  6. 06 /

Removing the unnecessary can be more strategic than adding another solution.

The SENSE Method /

A way of thinking, in five moves.

S01 /

See without assumptions

Look at the business as a customer, team member and informed outsider. Do not begin with what the business wants people to believe. Begin with what is actually visible, understandable and experienced.

E02 /

Examine the disconnects

Identify gaps between intention and perception, brand and business, promise and experience, activity and outcome, leadership assumptions and customer reality.

N03 /

Name what is really happening

Give the underlying issue a clear name. An unnamed problem is often solved at the wrong level.

S04 /

Strip away the unnecessary

Remove noise, duplicated work, inherited assumptions and activity that exists only because everyone else is doing it.

E05 /

Establish the way forward

Translate insight into direction, priorities, decision criteria, practical next moves and questions the team can continue using.

Clarity is not the end of the work. It is what makes the right work possible.

Ways to work together /

Four ways in, depending on where you are.

01 /

The Sense Check

A guided self-diagnostic for leaders who know something feels unclear but do not yet know where to begin.

02 /

Sense Audit

See the business as the customer does. A review of social, website, search, messaging, reviews, enquiries, purchase and service experience. The audit identifies disconnects, friction and lost meaning.

03 /

Sensemaking Session

A focused strategic conversation for a complex decision. For founders who need to clarify a problem, evaluate a direction, challenge an assumption, prioritise competing ideas, or prepare for a rebrand, launch or change.

04 /

Strategic Sensemaking

A deeper engagement for a business entering its next chapter. Possible areas include positioning, brand direction, customer experience, business clarity, growth questions and strategic alignment.

Fit /

Sensemaker may be right for you if:

  • /You have built something valuable but can no longer explain it simply.
  • /Your business has changed faster than your brand.
  • /You are doing many things but cannot identify what is truly moving the business forward.
  • /Your team has ideas, data and opinions but no shared clarity.
  • /You are considering a rebrand, expansion or new direction.
  • /You do not want to solve the wrong problem beautifully.
  • /You value thoughtful challenge more than quick validation.

It may not be right for you if:

  • /You only need someone to execute a fixed brief without asking questions.
  • /You want a formula that is applied identically to every business.
  • /You want to increase output without examining the root issue.
  • /You only want validation for a decision that has already been made.
  • /You are not open to reconsidering existing assumptions.

Meet the Sensemaker /

I am June.

An engineer by training, a creative director by instinct, and a marketer by experience.

Throughout my career, I have worked across brands, categories and different stages of business growth. The work often began with marketing. The real question was rarely only about marketing.

It was about understanding people. Seeing a disconnect others had learned to overlook. Finding the pattern beneath scattered information. Turning complexity into a direction people could act on.

Sensemaker was created for businesses that do not need louder answers. They need better questions.
